AdironDuck 6K trail race last Sunday was great and snowy! Great volunteering opportunity and start to the annual 6K

Trivia Night – Wednesday May 22nd at Boondocks

  • Flyer just finished, Facebook event, website and Boondocks will help promote
  • Ask Chamber to do an email blast
  • New event/conference center, 500 ppl called “Three Willows”
  • Please share the event and invite people

Membership – In progress, $20 annual fee, support the group in our efforts, perks around the county

  • More details to come, online payment option
  • Similar group in Watertown, North Country Business Professionals established about 3 years ago, 15-35 people, referrals, know other people, speaker at the beginning of the meetings, professional development oriented, life coaching
  • Lunch & Learn midday timeframe a good idea for seminar type event

Summer Solstice Party Friday June 21st – still in the works, garden party at Tug Hill Vineyards, fundraiser for Renee Beyer Fund

  • McKenzie to talk more in-depth with planning the event/date TBA
  • Uber driver for the event

Anything to share in your community?

  • Community Day of Caring – LC Leadership Academy, 6 locations around the county, volunteer to help clean up, online registration form, 9am-1pm
  • Leadership Conference broadcast, first time held outside of NYC, worldwide how many locations/people joining?
  • Coffee and Connections? Speed dating networking event

Other ideas or involvement for the future?

  • Murder Mystery dinner at SnowRidge dinner and happy hour $35 cost

Constable Hall (Constableville) looking for volunteers to help with garden restoration project, every few weeks to come and weed it, would get our own name, adopted triangle, 200 year old mansion’s formal garden
