Upcoming Events:

NYE Gala: Roaring 20’s theme, in beginning stages of planning, will have registration on our website and begin promoting

  • Fundraiser – ALL PROCEEDS for the Renee Beyer Fund
  • We need to decide the appetizers, food
  • Budget for food catered separately from THV
  • $45 per person/$80 per couples, second drink ticket for EP members
  • Includes 1 drink ticket, transportation, appetizers, champagne toast at midnight
  • LCEP membership perk: extra drink ticket upon registration
  • Ryan in charge of coming up with wording for the sponsors

Business After Hours – Next Thursday 5:30-7pm at Double Play downtown location,

  • LCEP “small sponsor” - will have a table to help promote membership
  • Event on Facebook available to share on our page and Chamber page

LCEP Membership:

  • 25 official members as of right now, can download roster or make it available to fellow members
  • Business After Hours event to be a “soft launch”
  • $20 annual cost, will include discounts and other membership perks listed on our website
  • Membership sticker to come soon! Can also print membership card and get it laminated at Coughlin.
  • Support our cause to attract and retain people in Lewis County
  • Corporate discount to Double Play gym membership, just show them your card
  • **Discuss further marketing ideas: Post cards to send to local companies about us and our group to help assimilate employees

Sat Oct 26th – Fall Wellness Expo at Open Sky, 10am-1pm, assessments by chiropractor, physical therapist etc.


Comedy Night at Double Play on Saturday Nov. 9th


Ugly Sweater Party / Christmas Trivia – Decide on a date and venue – Jeb’s, 6th or 13th?

New Year’s Eve Gala at Tug Hill Vineyards

Leadership Academy started last month, decided to offer them a free membership for first year

Next LCEP Board Meeting and Happy Hour: October 30th


Long term goal to get 501c3 non-profit designation

The Lewis County Emerging Professionals network was established to attract and retain professionals by enhancing the social, professional, and community outreach opportunities available to emerging professionals within Lewis County and to increase the opportunity for communication, shared knowledge and interaction between those individuals, uniting them in a common cause to promote community development and service.
