"I joined the Lewis County Emerging Professionals after a wine tasting event one summer at Tug Hill Vineyards, where I met tons of new faces and made some connections that have become great friends! I was previously a member of an Emerging Professionals Network when I lived and worked in Rhode Island several years ago, and was pleased to find a new organization where I could continue to use some of my events planning and public communication skills. I've become more involved in the local community over the past few years than I was for the first year I lived here, and am more grateful than ever to live in such a beautiful place with such wonderful people. Our organization is still fairly new, but we are a dedicated group of individuals who are at various stages in our careers, and we strive to create interesting and fun events for people to attend and enjoy, but also to help foster more interpersonal connection in our community. We truly live in the greatest part of Upstate NY!"
