Their Mission/Purpose:
The purpose of the Lowville Youth Athletic Foundation (LYAF) is to sponsor, support and assist children, teens and young adults from Lewis County participating in sports, sport camps, and college athletic scholarships; they Corporation will sponsor and support local municipal and school sports teams, clubs and organizations through the purchase and acquisition of equipment; the Corporation will also act as a source of funding and a source to receive grants and low interest loans to financially assist youth sports organizations within Lewis County.
Currently the primary focus of the LYAF is the Lowville (LYSA) and South Lewis (SLYSA) summer soccer programs and the Lewis County Girls Youth Softball program.
